Gold Medal Winner. Old fashioned coarse cut meaty texture. Try bangers and mash with caramelised onions, Toad in the Hole, hot dogs or for a warming Sausage Casserole: fry off the sausages in a large pan with some chopped onion, add a tin of chopped tomatoes, your favourite herbs and a pinch of chilli, stir in little water if necessary and cook in a moderate oven for 30 mins. Serve with crusty bread and a green vegetable. 5 to 6 large sausages per 500g pack.
