Westcountry way, in a mild brine, before being cold
smoked over oak in our own smokehouse.
Cooked in cider with spices and brown sugar.
Cider cooked hams are delicately flavoured and slightly
more moist than plain cooked hams.
The hams make an impressive party centre-piece or
can be the mainstay of family entertaining, they also
make fabulous gifts.
Try thick slices with fried eggs for an old fashioned
breakfast, or wrap thin slices around blanched chicory
& cover with cheese sauce.
